This depends on the project.

For any wedding calligraphy (or any day-of event calligraphy) inquiries, a good starting point is ~3-4 months prior to your wedding date as I do require require all text, detailing, guest names to be submitted 1 month prior to the event date, as well, it may take time to order materials (if required).

For any other smaller custom commissions, please understand that hand-lettering projects will require a minimum of 2 weeks to complete.

In other words, if you are interested in any of my services… the sooner, the better.

Any order that is placed less than 14 days out from the required completion date will be accepted upon availability (unless agreed upon), and will incur a 50% rush fee. This also includes confirming the text, guest names, etc. less than 14 days before the completion date.

Depending on the design and the size of the signage, I may use either vinyl or do it by hand (keep in mind that I am still doing my own lettering with vinyl, as it just becomes digitized).

At the end of the day, it comes down to your own preference. I have had clients who have requested for both.

If you do prefer one over the other (e.g. vinyl), please ensure to indicate this during our first consultation.

I will not be able to design exactly as you request. Every artist and calligrapher has their own style that is impossible to replicate. However, inspirational photos are helpful if you would like a certain aesthetic and appeal to your signs, but they aren’t necessary.

Your signage will always be 100% unique for you, and I will work with you during our initial meeting to ensure what you envision comes to life.

There are so many projects and ideas out there, so if you have something you are interested in having done but it is not listed as part of my services, send me an inquiry anyway and I will take a look to see if it it’s within my scope of work! :)

Currently, I am only offering local pick up as it makes the most sense for me. Shipping will become available in the near future.
