Creating personalized items for the people around me was a way for me to show how much I cared and appreciated them, whether it was making cards, drawing pictures, writing postcards, etc.

When I first was introduced to calligraphy, I was mesmerized by the pretty letters and how they connected together so beautifully, and how everyone had some uniqueness encapsulated into each letter they wrote. It was one of my favourite forms of self-care, and continues to be so.

When I’m not working on a calligraphy project, I am most likely teaching in my classroom or piano studio, exploring new places and experiences, or keeping active. I’m a huge fan of hiking in the mountains, visiting new and old coffee shops, and making new connections.
